It's that time of year where I begin to feel a little extra grateful. For me, November and December hold an extra special place in my heart because it has always been the time where I have felt closest to the people, places, and things around me.
While I have always adored the holidays, I've found myself increasingly excited each year as the seasons change and the world celebrates various special days.
It's around this time each year, with all the love and emotion in the air, when I really reflect on what the year has brought, what's still to come, and everything I cannot take for granted. Not that I don't reflect during other months of the year, but these months in particular bring a certain wave of thankfulness over me.
Do any of you feel a little extra aware of your gratitude around this time of year?
While it is, of course, incredibly important to be grateful, it is no less important to be so in the spring and summer than it is now.
Each day of the year there is something to be thankful for, whether we recognize it in the moment or not.
So here's my challenge to myself:
Beginning today, I challenge myself to jot down 3 things I am thankful for every day. [CLICK TO TWEET]
To start, I have created a list of 17 of the many things I am grateful for every day of the year.
1. Waking Up Each Morning
2. Sunny Days
3. Nature
4. Family
5. Old & New Friends
6. Mentors/Champions
7. Education
8. Health
9. Safety
10. Food & Water
11. Means of Transportation
12. Seasons
13. Clothes for Each Season
14. Love
15. Bed, Pillow, & Blanket
16. Choices
17. Myself
+ More
Here's to recognizing these things, not just around the holidays, but each and every day of the year.PIN THIS:

Thanks a million, Deborah! I'm glad you love the idea! I absolutely adore the holidays, too. I'm literally obsessed... Truly. As far as this dress goes, it is my favorite! It's so fuzzy and so easy to mix and match with pieces. Perfect with a hat, scarf, chunky necklace, high boots, low booties, sneakers! Literally goes with everything. I actually got it at TJ Maxx and it's become one of my favorite purchases. xoxo
DeleteWow these pictures are beautiful! I wish I could celebrate Thanksgiving right now but unfortunately its not a thing in Europe :(
